Understand workspaces and project access

Learn how projects, invitations and view, build and manage access organise your team's work.

Updated

A Lokaverse workspace groups simulations into projects. A project brings related content and the people working on it together. Individuals signing up with a personal email address receive a personal workspace.

Three levels of project access

View: see the project content you have been given access to.

Build: work on content in the project and create share links.

Manage: manage the project, including its people and deletion.

Account roles sit above project access. Administrators see everything in the workspace. Managers can see every project and invite people. Members see what they have been given, and learners see their assignments.

Invite people clearly

Invite colleagues or learners by email or with an invitation link. The invitation explains what the person will be able to do before they accept. You can resend, cancel or replace an invitation.

Review who can see what

Administrators use People & access to review people, project access, requests and access history. Anyone can open Your access from the avatar menu to read their own access in plain words.

Keep workspace joining deliberate

People using the organisation's own email domain can join automatically. Other people join when they are added or invited. A personal workspace does not gain members through sign-up. Contact support when the organisation's joining domain needs to change.
