Live guidance helps a colleague explain a shared simulation while the visitor is exploring it. It starts from the standard share link the visitor already opened, so they do not need a separate account to receive guidance.
Ask before joining
A guide can join only after the visitor accepts on their own screen. Explain the purpose of the session and give the visitor time to decide.
Explain the scene together
Once accepted, the guide can see what the visitor sees, point, draw and talk through the scene. Voice availability depends on the network. Use the simulation's steps and parts to keep the explanation focused on the visitor's questions.
Hand over controls only with permission
The guide takes controls only when the visitor allows it. The visitor can take control back at any moment. Watching and control handovers are recorded in the session record.
Keep the visitor's choices clear
Consent to live guidance does not mean recording is on. Recording stays off until the organisation enables it and each learner chooses whether to allow it. A learner can continue without recording. Recordings capture what was looked at and pressed, not camera, microphone or screen.
Use a standard share link
Live guidance runs through the browser share-link experience. It does not run inside a simulation embedded on another website.
